‘Squid Game’ Season 2 Trailer Previews Return Of Dystopian Netflix Series

The very first trailer for Squid Game’s second season previews Player 456, played by Lee Jung-Jae, returning to the Netflix series’ dystopian world. When he gets woken up by one of the masked staff members in charge of the risky game he won before, Player 456 finds himself in competition again against several money-hungry players. The short clip highlights snippets of the new episodes and the chaos that occurs as players get closer to winning the grand prize.

According to the official logline, the second season of Squid Game sees Player 456 searching on the hunt for the people responsible for the vicious games. He uses his money to look for the culprit, starting with the man in a sharp suit who plays ddakji in the subway. When Player 456 gets to the bottom of things, he realizes that taking down the organization is more complicated than it seems. To end the game, he must re-enter it.

The survival drama series is created by writer-director Hwang Dong-Hyu. The cast includes Lee Jung-Jae, Park Hae-Soo, Wi Ha-Joon, Oh Young-Soo, Anupam Tripathi, Heo Sung-Tae, Kim Joo-Ryoung, and Jung Ho-YeonSquid Games’ second season will also include new cast members like Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Gyu-young, Park Sung-hoon, Jo Yu-ri, Yang Dong-geun, Kang Ae-sim, Lee David, Lee Jin-uk, Choi Seung-hyun, Roh Jae-won, and Won Ji-an.
