Tom Cruise’s latest action-packed adventure is almost here, and fans can now grab their tickets for Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, which hits theaters on May 23.
To celebrate, Paramount Pictures has dropped two new behind-the-scenes videos and a collection of dramatic posters from the film. The movie continues the story of Ethan Hunt, and it promises high-stakes action, emotional depth, and jaw-dropping stunts.
In a recent interview with Fandango, Cruise expressed his excitement:
“I can’t wait for people to experience this movie. The cast, the crew, and [director] Christopher McQuarrie have done something really special. We’ve pushed boundaries. This one is loaded with emotion, character, and scale.”
The film was made to be experienced on the biggest screen possible, so IMAX is highly recommended. But fans can also catch it in other premium formats like Dolby Cinema, 4DX, and Cinemark XD.
Those attending the IMAX Opening Day Fan Event on May 22 at 2 PM will also receive an exclusive collector’s print to mark the occasion.
Alongside Cruise, the film stars Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Vanessa Kirby, and several more familiar faces from the franchise, as well as new cast members like Nick Offerman and Hannah Waddingham. The movie is directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who co-wrote the screenplay with Erik Jendresen.
