Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence are set to star in a new movie helmed by Martin Scorsese. Based on the ghost novel What Happens At Night by Peter Cameron, the film will follow a couple who travel to Europe to adopt a baby. Along the way, the lovebirds come across an outdated, creepy hotel that’s booked with eccentric (yet super transparent) entities. Apple Original Films is working on producing and financing What Happens At Night. The screenplay is written by Patrick Marber.

Scorsese has worked with DiCaprio before on movies like Gangs of New York, The Aviator, The Departed, Shutter Island, The Wolf of Wall Street, and Killers of the Flower Moon. Lawrence and Scorsese, on the other hand, are working together for the first time. Lawrence and DiCaprio have starred together in other movies like Don’t Look Up. The actress has a movie called Die, My Love premiering in theaters in November. Meanwhile, the actor is set to appear in Paul Thomas Anderson’s movie One Battle After Another.
