The official trailer for Neon and writer-director Boots Riley’s I Love Boosters has launched. Starring Keke Palmer, Demi Moore, Taylour Paige, LaKeith Stanfield, and many more, the clip finds Palmer’s character, Corvette, the leader of an all-women’s boosters team, planning a robbery on a high-end fashion store to flip the clothes for a lower price. Things take a turn, though, once Moore catches on to their scheme.
“I shop here a lot, and I feel like I should have it all,” Palmer says in the trailer. “I just want to take it all home, heat it up and shoot it out my eyes. I just feel like, ‘Give it to me. It’s mine anyway.”
Moores character says later in the trailer: “They take my s**t and sell it because they’re low-class urban bi***es — with all due respect to urban bi***es.”
Riley is the creative eye behind Sorry to Bother You and Prime Video’s I Am A Virgo. His film debuts in theaters on May 22.
