‘The Super Mario Galaxy Movie’ Trailer Drops During Super Bowl LV

Yoshi appears in the new trailer for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.  Although the trailer was short and sweet, it relayed an important message: That it’ll be packed with adventure, humor, and galactic power. In the 30-second clip, Mario and Luigi travel to space and go head-to-head against Bowser Jr., who screams, “The great battle of my life draws near!” Shortly after, Yoshi can be seen hilariously eating Kamek.

The animated sequel is directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic and will be released in theaters on April 1. Chris Pratt returns as Mario. Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black, Keegan-Michael Key, Benny Safdie, Kevin Michael Richardson, and Brie Larson are also part of the voice cast.
