Family Guy has a new spin-off in the works, and this time it focuses on the infamous toddler Stewie. According to Deadline, Fox and Hulu have ordered two seasons of a new animated comedy called Stewie, created by Seth MacFarlane and produced by 20th Television Animation. The show is expected to premiere on Fox in either 2027 or 2028. The episodes will stream the next day on Hulu and internationally on Disney+.
The series will follow Stewie as he attends a new preschool after getting kicked out of his old one. Although he hates the new school at first, things change when he starts using his inventions to travel through time and space, turning boring school days into wild adventures.

The spinoff will introduce new characters and a new school, but it won’t affect Stewie’s role on Family Guy, where he still attends Quahog Preschool. His loyal dog friend Brian Griffin is expected to make appearances.
MacFarlane will continue to voice Stewie, and longtime Family Guy writer Kirker Butler will serve as the showrunner.
The new series will join Fox’s lineup of long-running animated shows, including The Simpsons, Bob’s Burgers, andAmerican Dad!.
It will also become the second spinoff from Family Guy, after The Cleveland Show, which aired for four seasons starting in 2009.
