Speaking with Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy, Cardi made her intentions clear: a new album is coming. The project is still in its earliest stages, however. When Envy asked how far along she was, Cardi admitted that she currently has roughly two songs recorded.

After acknowledging that she still has plenty of work ahead, she doubled down on the 2027 timeline. Emphasizing that fans should expect her to keep the process moving.
