On Wednesday (Oct 9th) JT, who is apart of the hip-hop duo City Girls, was released from prison.
Without delay, JT then released “Day Out,” which basically clapped back at those who spoke about her while she was away.
But the emcee didn’t stop there. To raise the bar higher, JT shared some advice that she learned while she was in prison.
Using her Twitter finger, JT says:
“I was locked up w/ so many women who were in prison because they kept it real w/ men & those men did not keep it real with them! I want y’all to know that whatever you do DONT let a man influence you in the moment of “love” if he love you he wouldn’t put you in situations PERIOD.”
Then to bring the online bullies to a halt, JT followed the tweet with another, saying:
“& it’s not called being stupid, it’s called being influenced in a state of vulnerability! We taking these niggas money & putting our self first from here on out!”
Moving forward, we can expect more music from the City Girls! The duo is currently working on their new album.
