Yesterday (Nov 6th) Chris Brown hosted a yard sale at his Tarzana House. Granted that Brown has a huge fan fase, a line began to form before the event even started.
To inform others about this “bang for the buck” gathering, Brown shared a flyer with his more than 88 million followers on Twitter and Instagram. The flyer not only includes his address, but also says the sale will “…feature significantly marked-down, high end designer items.”
However things almost took its turn when a resident called authorities. TMZ reports that they spoke with officials at the L.A. Department of Building and Safety who told them they were at Chris’s house for over an hour, advising him on yard sale protocol. Later, someone else visited the singer and told his team that the yard sale couldn’t happen because a permit hadn’t been filed. But a permit wasn’t needed. And even though officials made repeated visits and attempted to have the event shut down throughout the day, it didn’t stop short.
Throughout the day, fans were let inside in small groups for 20 minutes to shop. The garage sale is happening again today.
