According to Deadline, Netflix has begun development on a CG series remake of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. It’s said to be co-produced by Mattel Television.
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe takes place on the planet of Eternia and follows a young, lost prince who discovers the powers of Grayskull and transforms into He-Man, Master of the Universe. The iconic clash between him and the evil Skeletor comes with a twist as they both put together new and powerful teams, all fighting for the official title of Master of the Universe. The rebooted franchise will also include a comic from DC Comics.
He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe will be released in fall 2020.
