Up next on the coming soon list is Warner Bros Birds of Prey. To this day there’s been a lot of Birds of Prey advertising and setting the tone for a “Bad Broad” Bang when Harley Quinn separates from the Joker and Suicide Squad for her emancipation. A behind-the-scenes teaser video recently released reveals new footage featuring DC comics Black Mask.
The DC universe brings Birds of Prey to the extended universe, taking Harley Quinn from her squad and spouse for a solo. The film stars Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn and Ewan McGregor – Black Mask who we see up close and personal in a behind-the scenes-teaser with Chris Messinas Victor Zsasz for an interrogation scene. Roman Sionis aka Black Mask has a target eye set for a member in Harleys girl gang after she steals a worthy diamond. Black Masks tries tug the last nerve, leading the birds to taking on the “Mess with one, mess with all” motto to protect their friend and defeat their fo.
The lengthy behind-the-scenes feature includes an extended look at Harley and the Birds handling Black Mask’s hitters plus a new scene where Harley is being interrogated by Roman Sois while his partner, Zsasz is ready to get his hands dirty. Previous trailers have shown Quinn and her group tallying the reasons for revenge but the root of animosity between Harley and Black still stands in question. Considering we’ve already been gifted plenty minutes of the 100 minutes film, this 7 minute feature clip suggest confidence- as it should! There’s a lot of factors coming to play for The Fantabulous Emancipation of Harley Quinn that sets the film up to lead at least Opening Weekend.
1. Harley Quinn is a favorite feminine amongst the sexes so anything Harley Quinn goes!
2. The Joker and Quinn break up is Toxic Tea!
3. This film is DC’s first R rated superhero film- appealing to the adults.
4. Curiosity for the level of comic consistency as far as Black Mask, Zsasz and the other comic character go. This film being their first live-action appearance aside from Harley.
5. Gotham City.
