Lil Tecca’s piano-led single “Out Of Love” sees the melodic rapper expressing what comes with fame, including clout demons who weren’t down from the beginning. Because of his tight bond with the one up above, Tecca can weed out the real from the fake. In his verse, he raps, “Now when they say my name, they be like “He made it”/”Oh shit, that’s Tecca, that boy up in N.Y.”/I’m really from Queens, but they say I’m from L.I.” Aside from this, Tecca unveils other losses he endured, like never hearing from so-called friends after leaving his city and (almost) getting involved in toxic relationships. Tecca plans to stay solid and never fold. As part of his chorus in “Out Of Love” goes, “Everybody wants the same thing/New chain, new car and the same ring/I just wanna make money with the same gang/New glass, new frame, but the same lane.”
The last time we saw Tecca on the charts was when he dropped his smash hit, “Ransom,” in 2019. Shortly after, “Ransom” went from being number 93 on the Billboards Hot 100 to number 4! Then, Lil Tecca dropped his first mixtape, We Love You Tecca, which got high recognition. Currently, fans are on their toes for an album, but no word has surfaced yet about Tecca working on one.
