As the end of summer countdown continues, ABC is already prepared for Fall. This week they dropped their upcoming lineup in addition to its premiere dates.
Among the lineup, we have Dancing With The Stars returning for a 28th season, Grey’s Anatomy returning for a 16th season, Modern Family coming back for an 11th season and the list goes on.
One of the most popular high-rating shows on ABC, Black-ish created by Kenya Barris, will be returning for a sixth season and sharing its wealth with its second new comedy spinoff, Mixed-ish.
Mixed- ish will solely focus on the life of Rainbow, played by Tracee Ellis Ross. The show will highlight the struggles she went through as a biracial teen trying to find her identity after moving from hippie livelihood to the urban lifestyle.
Mixed-ish will be just one of the new shows premiering in the Fall alongside Kids Say the Darndest Things, executive produced by Tiffany Haddish. According to ABC:
“The series will capture Haddish’s unique voice and sensibility as she interacts with real kids—and their innocently entertaining points of view.”
The summer heat may be getting hotter, but ABC is keeping us cool with their Fall premieres. So get ready and save the dates!
