Disney’s live-action adaption of Aladdin has worked it’s magic in the box office, garnering over $1 billion. Because of this, they’ve decided to give Aladdin another go, sequel style, according to Variety.
The talk of a sequel has existed since August 2019, with producer Dan Lin expressing interest in bringing director, Guy Richie, back for a follow-up.
Aladdin will be released on Digital on August 27th, followed by a Blu-ray release on September 10th. The cast list includes Will Smith, Mena Massoud, and Naomi Scott, to name a few.
