AMC Magic Johnson Harlem 9 held a star-studded affair in honor of Focus Features’ new drama movie, A THOUSAND & ONE.
During the premiere, the cast was in attendance. The list includes Teyana Taylor, Will Catlett, Josiah Cross, Aven Courtney, and Aaron Kingsley. The creatives behind A THOUSAND & ONE also stopped by. A.V Rockwell conducted the writing/directing while Eddie Vaisman, Julia Lebedev, and Rishi Rajani took care of the producing. Alicia Keys, A$AP Ferg, and Maino also expressed their support with their surprise visit.
A THOUSAND & ONE, which premieres in theaters on March 31st, is about a mother named Inez who kidnaps her 6-year-old son, Terry, from the foster care system. Together, the mother and son duo set out on a journey of self-discovery as they grow accustomed to the ever-evolving New York lifestyle. Inez is described as “unapologetic and free-spirited.”
A THOUSAND & ONE premieres on March 31st, 2023.
