Writer and producer Ryan Murphy may quite possibly be the hardest working man in Hollywood. The brain behind the cerebral FX series American Horror Story to countless other beloved works, the creative in Murphy never seems to take a day off. A great example of that is the AHS spin-offs currently in production, such as the new anthology series American Horror Stories that is already receiving rave reviews following its first few episodes. Now another new AHS spin-off series in production at FX with American Love Story on the way.
Murphy has certainly earned his reputation in Hollywood. Not only is the AHS franchise beloved and revered by fans around the globe, he has even step out of his comfort zone recently to attack politics as the producer of the upcoming series Impeachment: American Crime Story. This new project American Love Story will seemingly be another example of that, bringing a romantic spin to the esteemed franchise for arguably the first time ever. The first season of the series is rumored to center around the relationship of former President John F. Kenedy and Carolyn Basset, an incredible example of the perfect American household turned upside down that will serve as the series’ foundation.
