It seems like another rising artist is dissatisfied with their management.
On Sunday afternoon, Ari Lennox uploaded a picture on Twitter with a red background and the texts, “looking for a lawyer and new management.”
As the caption she inserted a heart emoji.
And although her followers were a little perplexed by the sudden inquiry, Lennox clarified in a subtle way, for the sake of professionalism, but it wasn’t too hard to get the memo. The reason, remains up in the air.
One tweet she typed reads,
“I’m so happy to know who truly cares about my well being. It’s damn sure not certain people that I thought.”
Following after, Lennox uses her Twitter finger to further explain:
“People want to be there for the accolades but not the real grind,” she penned in a later tweet. “People love you when you’re the sweet baby doll but not when you’re human. Don’t want no more fake soulless shit around me.”
According to Hot New Hip-Hop, “She would, of course, clarify that this new announcement leaves her status with Dreamville untouched, rather focusing on her personal management team previously consisting of Paris Hines and Justin Lamotte. The duo has been instrumental in the recent breakout that Ari has experienced.”
