As a true man of his word, Arnold Schwarzenegger is once again back, and this time it’s on TV! While Schwarzenegger has been apart of television projects before such as Celebrity Apprentice, this will be his scripted television debut, while still very much on the drawing board by way of title, cast, and network, is creating a lot of buzz throughout the industry.
In typical Schwarzenegger fashion, his work will be themed around what appears to be an action-packed, adventurous plot line. This plot line will focus on the world renowned international spy and his daughter (I’m picturing something along the lines of Liam Neeson in Taken threatening his enemies over the phone to save his daughter).
The show has been created by Nick Santora, who is no stranger to the genre, as he has also created the spy drama Scorpion on CBS and working for Jack Reacher on Amazon.
As for the many other details, we are still anxiously waiting. Schwarzenegger’s character’s daughter has yet to be cast, but it will be sure to immediately launch the unknown star’s career through collaborating with some of Hollywood’s most notable actors, directors, and producers.
If nothing else, we are confident that this show will be an exciting addition to the binge-worth television series lineup within the foreseeable future.
