TMZ caught up with Barbara Corocan of ABC’s Shark Tank and asked her what she thought of Forbes announcing Jay-Z’s billionaire status. She released a statement while extending an invite for Hov to appear as a featured guest on the show.
“He deserves it, come on. He’s self-promoted, he works his ass off, why shouldn’t he be a billionaire. I bet he would be a guest shark, why not? I’ll make sure he gets invited.”
Corocan is one of three judges including Mark Cuban and Robert Herjavec who made her fortune in real estate.
After the announcement of Jigga’s achievement, many artists showed their support and congratulated the Hip Hop mogul.
Meek Mill posted up on Instagram with a pledge.
“Yes I solemnly swear to become a billionaire… keep leading the way oldhead and we following up! Straight out the projects #hovisthegoat stop playing wit that word until you earn it!”
Diddy came through with a congratulatory post with a picture of the two men in business attire, talking about the next bag they’re about to collect.
