The recently released video for Batman: Caped Crusader has unveiled a stellar cast for the animated series, with each actor bringing their unique voice to the characters. The lineup includes McKenna Grace, Toby Stephens, Reid Scott, Dan Donohue, Gary Anthony Williams, Jason Watkins, John DiMaggio, Krystal Joy Brown, Michelle C. Bonilla, Eric Morgan Stuart, Tom Kenny, Minnie Driver, Diedrich Bader, Jamie Chung, and Christina Ricci. Notably, Hamish Linklater is set to portray the enigmatic Dark Knight. The original Prime Video show is the brainchild of executive producers Bruce Timm, J.J. Abrams, and Matt Reeves.
So far, a rep for Batman: Caped Crusader has revealed that Bader will voice Two-Face, Chung will play Harley Quinn, and Ricci will act as Catwoman. Warner Bros. Animation, 6th & Idaho, and Bad Robot Productions produced the series.
Batman: Caped Crusader is poised to “reimagine Batman’s mythology” in a way that’s never been seen before. Coming Soon reports that the series will employ cutting-edge animation techniques to breathe new life into Batman, presenting a fresh take on the iconic character through “sophisticated storytelling, nuanced characters, and intense action sequences, all set in a visually striking world.”
Batman: Caped Crusader will premiere on August 1, with ten episodes releasing simultaneously.
