The second season of Bel-Air is set to drop on February 23, 2023. Because of this, Peacock has decided to drop a short teaser highlighting what the new season will consist of. It also shows fans that The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alum Tatyana Ali will be in this season as an English teacher.
Elsewhere, Will (Jabari Banks) is seen chasing a bag through street basketball games while struggling with his identity as a West Philly native and a resident of Bel-Air.
The synopsis continues,
“Bel-Air Season 2 picks up with Will at a crossroads as a new figure comes into his life who challenges what he’s learned in Bel-Air and competes for control of his influence.
He juggles this while navigating his home life with the Banks family and trying to rebuild the broken trust at the end of last season. We’ll see Will and Carlton’s brotherhood evolve as they grow closer but still challenge each other about their differences. We’ll also see Hilary develop as she becomes more of a boss in her influencer world and how that spills over into her relationship with Jazz, and also highlight the relatable struggles around Viv and Phil balancing marriage and family while trying to forge their own career paths and reconnect to the things that are important to them.”
Bel-Air is a rendition of the Will Smith-led series Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
The show also stars Adrian Holmes as Phillip Banks, Cassandra Freeman as Vivian Banks, Olly Sholotan as Carlton Banks, Coco Jones as Hilary Banks, Akira Akbar as Ashley Banks, Jimmy Akingbola as Geoffrey, Jordan L. Jones as Jazz, and Simone Joy Jones as Lisa.
