Buggzy Hoffa, Jái-Ho The Golden Child, and CaNn CaNn team up once more for their song, “Money,” an anthem that basically confronts those who are ballin’ on a budget. Between lyrics, the triad of emcees tells fugazies to “put your money where your mouth is.” The Black Diamond Mafia squad, on the other hand, let the dinero speak for them.
As “Money” continues, the rhymers forewarn double-crossers to watch how they move. Like CaNn puts it: “You could be the first one missing, in other words: circumcision.” Elsewhere in the song, the trio boasts about their accomplishments, ultra-fresh drip game, and vouch for their friends taking wins instead of losses. Hoffa delivers his bars in a sing-song fashion, whereas Jái-Ho tests his dexterity with two different flows. The third feature, CanN, raps with precision between three different flows.
Two notable lines from “Money” are: “Claim you got bags, you do, they’re under your eyes,” and “Blow into hundreds, yeah, so I can sneeze.” Keyz and Prime‘s production is trap-inspired. It uses oscillating laser beam recordings, thumping 808’s, and a dark bell riff.
Per Artist Track, “As born and raised New Yorkers, Buggzy, Jái-Ho and CaNn all know the grit and hustle it takes to build an empire.”
