Netflix’s Black Mirror is going on its sixth season. That said, some new details surrounding it have been unveiled. The five new episodes are set to drop sometime in June.
According to Netflix, this season will be “more cinematic in scope.” It’s also said to be full of reinventions in the blink of an eye. The satirical, dark, sci-fi meets drama series is created by Charlie Brooker. Through their company Broke & Bones, Brooker, and Annabel Jones have also teamed up with Jessica Rhoades and Bisha K. Ali to direct this season. Black Mirror has won several Emmy Awards, including three for Outstanding Television Movie for the “San Junipero” and “USS Callister” episodes and the Bandersnatch interactive film.
