Bruce Willis is a true Hollywood veteran, having begun his acting career on television back in the 1980’s. Since then, he has filled out his resume with a wide variety of roles but is, arguably, best known for his role in action films such as the Die Hard franchise. His stoic demeanor has proven to be indispensable when it comes to the genre of action films, landing him a plethora of roles throughout his career that many actors would kill for the opportunity for. Now he has been cast in another new action movie, with the official trailer for Surviving the Game being unveiled earlier this week.
Throughout several decades in the entertainment industry, Bruce Willis has earned his reputation as one of the biggest bad asses in the history of Hollywood. Thus, it is no surprise that, despite his age, he is still being cast as the star of new action films in 2021. The upcoming film in question is Surviving the Game, where he and Chad Michael Murray are forced to go on the defensive after being ambushed in a drug bust gone wrong. While the project’s synopsis doesn’t give many clues as to finer details about its plot, the official trailer released earlier this week gives us a bit more to work with. In it, Willis and Murray appear to be hiding out in a remote farm as a gang of armed drug dealers attempt to corner them and take their lives in rather cerebral fashion. That trailer and the wide range of twists and turns Surviving the Game can be seen below, and the full-length film can be seen in theaters and on Apple TV October 8th.
As society begins to regain a sense of normalcy amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, more and more familiar faces are making their return to the big screen. One of the next in line will be Hollywood heavyweight Bruce Willis as one of the stars of Surviving the Game. The project appears as though it falls right in line with Willis’ past work and should be a pleasant step in the right direction for the movie industry. Moviegoers and interested fans can look forward to the premiere of Surviving the Game in the coming weeks.
