The Hollywood Reporter recently unveiled that Curb Your Enthusiasm is ending with its 12th season. The comedy fave has been running since 2000. The news was clarified by the prestigious media publication, which said the final episode “felt like homecoming.” Another sign of the show ending was writer and producer Jon Hayman’s since-deleted tweet. He called the end of filming “the final season.”
“Maybe you love the show. Maybe you hate the show. Maybe you don’t give a shit. In any event, shooting the last scene of the last episode of the final season,” Hayman tweeted.
A co-star from Curb Your Enthusiasm also hinted at the 12th season being the last one, going so far as to commend Larry David.
He wrote, “There I was a few hours ago in my trailer on location to shoot my last scene of [Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 12].”
“Hard to believe we started in 2000. The cast and crew all knew we were working for a genius. When that rarity happens, no one ever takes a moment for granted. We love you, LD,” David continued.
Curb Your Enthusiasm is about a half-fictionalized version of Larry David. The series aired for 8 seasons and was shortly halted in 2011. By 2017, Curb Your Enthusiasm returned to air for a 9th season. The 10th season kicked off in 2020 and was followed by what could be the last 2 seasons in 2021-2022. The show was nominated for 51 Emmy Awards following its success.
