Wednesday, November 16th, 2022 was another successful and groundbreaking moment for legendary DJ Suss One and his Dinner and A Movie series. DJ Suss One and The Feature Presentation took over New York City’s IPIC Theatre where some of the hottest influencers packed the theater to support the man of the evening. The night started off with a traditional mixer. Guests were escorted to a private lounge where they were greeted with a glass of wine along with an array of top-shelf cocktails of their choice. While everybody mixed and mingled in during cocktail hour you could spot DJ Suss One chopping it up with many of the attendees. After cocktail hour, guests were brought to theatre 1 and escorted to their pre-assigned seats. Once everyone was seated, DJ Suss One and his guest were served dinner, must-have movie snacks, and of course, unlimited popcorn, ‘Dinner & A Movie’ ended up being the ultimate night out.
The star-studded guest list included influencers such as VH1 Love & Hip Hop’s Ms. Moe Money and Chrissy Monroe, Award-Winning Violinist Mapy, Actor/Author/Journalist Shaheem Reid, New York’s WPIX Channel 11 News Reporter Nicole Johnson, Celebrity Fashion Designer and Stylist Looks By Lunden, Social media influencer twins Madison Jaye and Pilar Scratch, Actor/Comedian Daniel Jean along with popular comedian Mr. Commodore pulled up with his girlfriend as his plus 1— the list goes on and on. Also in attendance was Power 105.1 NY’s Cherry Martinez, recording artist Kofi Black, and NY Giants sports events coordinator Jason Negron all came to support the advanced screening of Devotion. The dimmed-lit setting along with reclined seats, blankets, pillows, and delicious cocktails have been the new modern wave to enjoy your favorite upcoming films before they hit theaters.
“This is a really dope experience, the vibe is so mellow and it’s super cool,” said Shaheem Reid while walking into the theater. The occasion was a refreshing experience for the entertainment industry, especially when The Feature Presentation Studios and Sony partners up.
As guests were leaving, they could be heard thanking DJ Suss One in anticipation of the next one. Everyone conveyed endless love to one of the most respected DJs in the game. Dinner and A Movie was nothing less than epic with memorable people, good vibes, and ended with one of the most euphoric movies to hit the big screen in a long time.
