TVLine reports that Fox has renewed Amy Poehler’s animated comedy series, Duncanville for a second season. As of late, Duncanville will be premiering the seventh episode of its first season on April 17th, 2020.
Duncanville is another great addition to our Sunday Animation Domination block,” Fox entertainment president Michael Thorn said in a statement. “Amy, Mike, and Julie have been fantastic partners, as have the teams at 20th and Universal Television. Our thanks also go out to the entire voice cast, including Ty, Riki, Betsy, Yassir, Zach, Joy, Rashida, and Wiz. Duncan may be an average teen. However, the show is anything but, and we can’t wait for a brand-new season of Harris family adventures.”
Duncanville explores the life of a 15-year-old boy, who lives in luxury. Like most 15-year-olds, Duncan thinks that adulting is sweet! But his current situation consists of driving with his mom sitting shotgun and babysitting his little sister. The show goes to showcase his imagination and sees Duncan going through the obstacles that every adolescent faces.
The show stars Ty Burell, Riki Lindhome, Joy Osmanski, Yassir Lester, Betsy Sodaro, and Rashida Jones to name a few. Duncanville is also a co-production by Bento Box Entertainment, 20th Century Fox Television, Universal Television, and FOX Entertainment.
