The production for the fourth season of Emily in Paris has been put on hold because of the ongoing WGA writer’s strike.
The Netflix drama series was supposed to start filming between this summer and fall but is now delayed for two months. The team behind Emily in Paris hopes to begin production by the end of the fall. Another show affected by the WGA writer’s strike is Stranger Things for its fifth (and final) season.
Emily in Paris is led by Lily Collins, Ashley Park, Philippine Leroy Beaulieu, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Camille Razat, Bruno Gouery, Kate Walsh, William Abadie, and Arnaud Viard.
Emily in Paris is about a passionate Chicago-based marketing executive who lands her dream job in Paris after her company creates a French luxury company.
