The Queen of Netflix herself, Millie Bobby Brown, is returning to the small screen yet again to star in the Netflix original movie Enola Holmes as Enola herself. The official trailer for the film adaptation of Nancy Springer’s book series The Enola Holmes Mysteries has finally been released, and looks just as amazing as one would expect from the works of Brown.
This story follows the youngest of the Holmes siblings, Enola, who must ask her brothers, Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes, for their help in discovering where their mother has gone after her sudden disappearance. Putting little thought into what they presume to be Enola’s overactive imagination, the brothers disregard her urgency in relocating their mother. With a strong feeling that something bad has happened, Enola runs away to London to find her herself. During her pursuits, she becomes wrapped up in a mystery of her own that could change the course of political history forever.
The movie seems to offer the action of a classic Sherlock Holmes tale with a comedic, playful side as Enola breaks the fourth wall throughout the trailer to offer her acknowledgement towards the irony and ridiculousness of the situations she finds herself in.
The movie will be available to stream on Netflix on Wednesday, September 23rd 2020.
