Two years ago, the eccentric, lyrically proficient triad known as Flatbush Zombies, gave fans an album packed with a slew of bangers called Vacation In Hell. To summarize, Vacation In Hell carries thought-provoking messages, along with tracks with psychedelic-like vibes and revved-up beats.
In more recent events, Flatbush Zombies has hinted that they’ll be dropping their album, Now More Than Ever on June 5th, 2020, and you can bet your bottom dollar that I am very excited for this premiere. Not to mention, Flatbush Zombies also contributed to Beast Coast’s Escape From New York, last year. The tape included artists like Nyck Caution, Kirk Knight, Joey Badass, CJ Fly, and The Underachievers.
Those apart of Flatbush Zombies are Meechy Darko, Erick Arc Elliot, and Jewice. Erick assists with the production and giving fans witty entendres while Meechy Darko takes a darker approach to the pen and pad with his signature rough voice. Jewice, on the other hand, carries his verses with light-hearted fun and slightly aggressive rhymes.
To make this announcement, the three went on Instagram to preview three new tracks, the first one being “Herb.” In the snippet, expect to hear a hollow chant before Darko raps, “Nothing’s more creative than a hater,” before the beat takes on a tape rewind recording.
Listen to a clip of “Herb” below and message us to let us know your opinion.
