Future and Lil Uzi Vert are undeniably the swaggiest artists of this generation.
Coupling slick talk with melodic cadences, the two do diligence in creating bangers that’ll have you either flexing to the max, lamenting over crooked baddies, or speaking with no filter. Nonetheless, it’s only right for these two to bridge their sounds. For their auto-tune combined would be enough to blow any tryhard singsong emcee out of the water.
HotNewHipHop ‘s Alex Zidel reports, “the release of ‘Patek’ and ‘Over Your Head’ this summer started the rumors, with people expecting a complete album by the end of July 31.”
Sadly, the joint project hasn’t dropped (maybe their pulling a Ye or Playboi Carti stunt?) But don’t fret just yet.
Yesterday, Future and Lil Uzi Vert hinted that they’d have a musical piece debuting really soon. Pluto and Baby Pluto teased fans with a clip of them going head to head in what seems to be an indoor soccer game. Amid this friendly competition game, an unreleased track of theirs played in the background. Even though the song failed to lay out some bars, it did leave Future’s signature whistle on full display.
More recently, however, Future and Lil Uzi Vert previewed their collaborative track, “Astronauts.”
Keep those ears open folks. The project is OTW!
