According to Variety, a limited series of Stephen King’s classic Carrie is in the works on FX.
Carrie is about Carrie White, a high school teenager who gets picked on by her classmates. Little do they know, Carrie can move things with her mind. But kindness overrules all and it offers Carrie a chance to be normal until unexpected cruelty turns her gift into a weapon of horror and destruction that’s quite unforgettable.
Carrie was previously made in 1976 by director Brian De Palma and writer Lawrence D. Cohen. The movie received two Academy Award nominations.
