Atlas Film Distribution’s The Mean One is inspired by The Grinch but with a horror twist. The movie is said to drop in theaters on December 9th.
Before this Christmas/horror parody film hits the big screens, moviegoers can get a glimpse of what’s ahead. In poster form, that is.
The Grinch can be seen holding a bloody butcher knife. This exact knife also has a reflection of a woman screaming.
As per the synopsis,
“The Mean One is a hairy, green-skinned grump in a Santa suit, living on a mountain high above the town of Newville, despising the holiday season.
Young Cindy You-Know-Who, whose parents were butchered by The Mean One twenty Christmases earlier, is returning to town to seek closure … but is about to discover that this fiend with a heart two sizes too small is still quite eager to carve the roast beast.”
The Mean One draws similarities to Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey. The two movies are based on children’s novels.
