Gunna is using his staple “Pushing P” to influence the youth in a positive way. The slogan is inspired by his song “Pushin P,” featuring Future and Young Thug.
According to the rapper’s Instagram page, he will be dropping a children’s book that’ll show them how to “push p.” Although he doesn’t have an official release date, the YSL artist says it’s coming soon.
The book provides kids with six steps to become “P,” including looking out for loved ones and being loyal to them. However, Gunna seemed to have his own definition of what “Pushing P” looked like. On Twitter last month, he elaborated on the slogan’s value. Going against “P,” to Gunna, means “speaking on a n***a for no reason” and “jumping in a person’s beef or situation when you don’t know what’s going on.”
In actuality, “P” means loyalty, “bossing your b***h up, being a real n***a off the internet, and more makes somebody “P.”
If you’re anything like me, you’re probably wondering what “P” actually stands for. Well, according to LAD Bible, the “P” means player. However, there may be some debates out there on the letter’s truer meaning.
