Jeezy has added a monumental milestone to his legacy. And this time this one is literally record-breaking. The “Soul Survivor” rapper, born Jay Jenkins, was officially inducted into the Guinness World Records on November 1st, 2025 for hosting the largest orchestra ever assembled at a hip-hop concert. In doing so, he solidified a new benchmark for artistry, culture, and live performance.
The recognition came during his electrifying Las Vegas residency, “TM:101 Live,” held at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. In celebration of the 20th anniversary of his landmark album Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101, Jeezy took the stage backed by a 101-member orchestra — a symbolic nod to the album that shaped a generation.

The acclaimed Color of Noize Orchestra, led by music director Adam Blackstone and featuring original arrangements composed by Derrick Hodge, transformed Jeezy’s greatest hits into sweeping, cinematic experiences. From trap anthems to motivational street sermons, each track was reimagined with orchestral depth, showcasing Jeezy’s vision to expand the sonic possibilities of hip-hop.
“This isn’t just a win for me — it’s a moment for the culture, for music, and for Vegas. A winner is a dreamer who never gave up!” Jeezy said after Guinness representative Andy Glass presented him with the official certificate on stage. In fact, rapper later reflected on Instagram, sharing the moment with fans around the world.
“It has always been my purpose to motivate and inspire my culture. Thank you to everyone involved for believing in my vision. Couldn’t have done it without you. This one’s for the books… literally. The purpose of life is the life of purpose”.
The crowd witnessed an artist humbled, energized, and grateful, with Jeezy telling the audience he was “speechless”. He continued, “This is what this is about — staying focused, not paying attention to the noise, and trusting the process”.
The historic performance highlights Jeezy’s evolution from trap pioneer to cultural architect. An artist unafraid to push boundaries and reimagine what hip-hop can look and sound like on the world stage.
Fans still have two chances to witness the groundbreaking residency, with remaining dates on December 19th and December 21st. If his latest achievement is any indication, Jeezy’s orchestral era is redefining greatness… one record at a time.
