Jhené Aiko recently unveiled that her forthcoming album, CHILOMBO will make its way to the R&B scene. But the drop gets more surreal because Aiko has a single ‘OTW’ as well. This news follows her recent song effort, ”P*$$Y Fairy(OTW),” which dropped earlier this month, racking up at #58 on The Billboards Hot 100.
She announced her new projects and their ETA through a pop-up music video to ”P*$$Y Fairy(OTW).” The visual sees Aiko and a background dancer gliding through dance moves in a purple-tinted room while the song plays in the background. On the corner of the screen, random facts “pop-up” in I-Message decor about what went down behind-the-scenes, about herself, about the choreography, and the song’s moniker/concept. Towards the end, one more fun fact rolls out, and in comes CHILOMBO’s release date. Laid out next to a swooned heart emoji is the month: February.
In the meantime, expect Aiko’s newest single to hit streaming services. There is no release date, as of yet.
