Jonah Hill is set to play the late Jerry Garcia in Martin Scorsese’s upcoming movie. The said film will focus on the rock band Grateful Dead.
Scorsese is also working on another project at this time called Killers of the Flower Moon. The crime drama series stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro. The upcoming movie will debut on Apple.
There are no further details on this untitled film.
Hill and Scorsese will work side by side once more, having worked on films like The Wolf of Wall Street. They’ll also take on the producing role with Rick Yorn.
Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, Trixie Garcia, Eric Eisner, and Bernie Cahill will be executive producing the movie.
