Jonathan Majors will act as Dennis Rodman in the highly anticipated film 48 Hours in Vegas. The movie will focus on the Chicago Bulls legend’s 48-hour trip to Las Vegas during the NBA Finals. Deadline adds that Majors is “very much on board,” although he hasn’t officially signed onto the project. 48 Hours in Vegas, according to the synopsis, will “detail a budding friendship that neither one of them ever thought was possible but will end up solving both of their problems.”
As per the 2020 documentary The Last Dance, the Chicago Bull’s former coach Phil Jackson pushed Rodman to travel as a decompressor. The trip was helpful, with Rodman earning the Chicago Bulls another win at the NBA Championship.
The movie will be produced by Phil Lord, Chris Miller, and Aditya Sood. Jordan VanDina will pen the script.
