Lady Gaga revealed on Instagram that she’s dropping an album called Harlequin to accompany Joker: Folie À Deux. In five separate IG post, she showed her fans a preview of some songs from the 13-track offering, such as “I’m Ready For My Interview,” “Don’t Tell Me What to Wear,” “No Ducttape No Mission,” “Moondust Gets Everywhere,” and “Still Not October.” It’s still unknown if Harlequin is a soundtrack for the movie or just her next album. So far, she’s released a single with Bruno Mars called “Die With a Smile.”
Joker: Folie à Deux explores Joker and Harley Quinn’s first encounter at the Arkham State Hospital and their twisted, budding romance.
Joker: Folie à Deux is directed by Todd Phillips. Joaquin Phoenix is reprising his role as the Joker, while Lady Gaga will portray Joker’s love interest and partner in crime, Harley Quinn.
Other cast members include Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland, and more. The first Joker film went on to earn over $1 billion at the box office and ultimately became the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time.
