Luther Vandross‘ estate has teamed up with Waterford for a new crystallized collection. On Thursday (Aug. 10), the two parties will release a cocktail and barware line called “Luther 81 X,” which mirrors a lyric from “Never Too Much” in its intricate crystal-cut designs. At a glance, people can see the passionate line etched into Waterford’s famed Irish glass: “A Thousand Kisses From You Is Never Too Much.”
The collection is paired with what Waterford describes as “the aesthetics of 80s vinyl records with the unmatched precision of our crystal artistry.”
The crystal art collection contains approximately 81 polished precision-cut tracks from the late R&B singer’s double platinum debut album Never Too Much.
All products will be available in Bloomingdale’s (US), David Jones (Australia), the House of Waterford (Ireland), and Harrods (UK).
Luther Vandross passed in July of 2005 after going into cardiac arrest.
