LeBron James is developing a Netflix film starring comedian Adam Sandler as an ex-NBA. Lebron James and Maverick Carter will produce the movie under Springhill Entertainment with Sandler’s Happy Madison.
Interestingly enough Sandler is supposedly slotted to play a role on the basketball court. The story follows Sandler’s character who gets fired from the NBA but attempts a comeback when he finds a talented player abroad. Sandler will try to bring that player to the United States and help him make the NBA all while reviving his own career as a scout.
The film venture was originally reported by Jeff Sneider of Collider, further details will be updated as they come. We can catch Lebron in the coming “Space Jam” as himself and then on the courts when the world of sports reopens.
