Lil Baby shows no signs of slowing down in the music industry. Just four months ago, he dropped an original and deluxe version of his album, My Turn, which earned the No. 1 spot off Billboard 200 back in March. Not to mention his slew of features, including his most recent song with Gucci Mane called “Both Sides.” Now, the Quality Control artist plans on using his knack for rhyming and work ethic to create an impactful song that’s guaranteed to wake the whole world up! He went on Instagram to preview an already-recorded track.
Given the lyrics at hand, it seems like this particular banger will focus on police brutality. Lil Baby raps “I gave him chances, chances, chances again, I even told him please/ I find it crazy that police will shoot you, they know that you dead but still tell you to freeze/fucked up I seen what I seen, I guess that means to hold him down if he says he can’t breathe/too many mothers that’s grieving.”
There is no release date on this song as of yet. We’ll just have to keep our ears open.
