Warner Bros. Picture is reportedly creating a new live-action DC film, which will focus on magic-wielding superhero Zatanna Zatara, according to DCEU Mythic. Although she’s one of the most popular characters from the animated movie Justice League Dark, DCEU Mythic reports that this movie is separate from Bad Robot’s previously announced project about the team. If all of this information is accurate, fans worldwide can expect Zatanna to make her first-ever live debut on the big screen.
Gardner Fox and Murphy Anderson created Zatanna Zatara back in 1964. She made her first appearance in the Hawkman comic books. To give you a better idea of who Zatanna Zatara is, she is the daughter of a famous stage magician named Giovanni Zatara, who made his debut during the Golden Age of Comics. To summarize, I guess you can say she followed his footsteps. Zatara’s powers give her the ability to control the elements, telekinesis, telepathy, teleportation, and to manipulate reality.
