Award-winning R&B singer, songwriter, and record executive, Luca Dayz just debuted his newest song, “Blow Your Mind,” yesterday. The song features West Coast rap icon, Snoop Dogg, Ukraine singer, Tina Karol, and rap group, LOE. Ultimately the song sees the artists speaking on how fame has changed their lives, their newfound accomplishments, and also carrying on-site protection if anyone tries to test them. After the listen, one might even concur that this is an anthem that celebrates being independent.
On the tropical pop offering, Luca Dayz uses a honeyed register to speak about his top-tier drip and foreign whips. Additionally, he details how hard he’s worked to be where he is today and his wealth. “I move how I wanna, poppin bottles. I don’t even check the price.” he sings. Before his verse ends, Luca warns you not to touch his possessions.
Afterward, Tina Karol uses a falsetto-like register to shed light on what kind of person she is. Like Luca, she also sings about how she doesn’t like being told what to do or how she is. “Love playing by my rules/Don’t tell me what to do,” she delivers. By the two-minute and forty-four second mark, Tina Karol holds a piercing vocality that’s strong enough to break any glass. Snoop Dogg assists with the song’s hook.
Lastly, the trio LOE go in-depth about their work ethic, how fame has changed their lives and warns others to bring the fakeness elsewhere because they know who’s real and who’s not. One notable line from their verses is, “I see you envy me /Fakeness in your energy.”
Outside of his artistry, Luca Dayz calls the shots at the renowned international record label Bentley Records. His musical journey started at 13-years-old with a karaoke mic and a kitchen sponge as the pop filter. To record, Luca worked his way around Audacity. That same year, Luca also sent his CD to a label in Switzerland. By the time he turned 17, Luca had met Grammy-winning producer Troy Taylor. In turn, it inspired him to make music into a full-time career.
