Diablo Cody is a renowned writer, producer, and author who is most known for her contributions to iconic films such as Juno, Jennifer’s Body, Burlesque, and Tully to name a few. With such an obvious natural range across so many different audience demographics, it is no surprise Cody is working with a visionary such as Madonna herself who is known for being the forefather to so many culturally relevant ideas.
This partnership was confirmed by Madonna herself, who took to Instagram this past Friday August 7th. The minute long, black and white video of Madonna and Diablo Cody show the two discussing the precise details of an outfit a character would wear in a scene along with the music that would accompany it. Having appeared in 17 movies herself, Madonna is no stranger to the cinematic world and appears to be in her element collaborating with Cody.
While the exact details are unknown for where this project may go, it is safe to assume Madonna’s signature style will shine through throughout the screenplay.
