NBC is canceling Magnum P.I. after its 5th season finishes up in 2024. The show is based on the 1980-1988 series of the same name and originally premiered on CBS in 2018.
NBC isn’t looking to move forward with Magnum P.I. because they expect to “mount a sizable campaign” for the show’s final chapter. The new (and last) season will carry ten episodes.
Some of the episodes in the fifth season aired on NBC from February 2023 to April 2023. The remaining episodes will air sometime in 2024.
The series stars Jay Hernandez as Thomas Magnum.
