Marvel Animation’s new series, X-Men ’97, will begin streaming on Disney+ starting March 20, 2024. The release date was confirmed through a teaser poster and trailer for the animated series. X-Men ’97 carries ten episodes that center on the superhero team.
According to the synopsis, X-Men ’97 takes place in the 1990s and sees the superhero team, X-Men, maneuvering in a corrupt world that hates and fears them. The cast includes Ray Chase as Cyclops, Jennifer Hale as Jean Grey, Alison Sealy-Smith as Storm, Cal Dodd as Wolverine, JP Karliak as Morph, Lenore Zann as Rogue, George Buza as Beast, AJ LoCascio as Gambit, Holly Chou as Jubilee, Isaac Robinson-Smith as Bishop, Matthew Waterson as Magneto and Adrian Hough as Nightcrawler.
The series is executive produced by Brad Winderbaum, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, and Beau DeMayo. On the other hand, Jake Castorena, Chase Conley, and Emi Yonemura are the directors of X-Men ’97. The script is written by Beau DeMayo.
X-Men ’97 debuts on Disney+ on March 20, 2024.
