Marvel has revealed the time traveling adventure for Fantastic Four. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Marvel is reinventing Fantastic Four with a new issue in July. The story centers on time travel during a fight with Doctor Doom. In the illustrations, the superhero team goes separately into different time periods. The only way that the Fantastic Four team can bring things back in order is by finding a rare rock called the forever stone. A writer named Ryan North who has experience with time travel stories revealed to the media platform that he’s been honing into his skills for this moment. He adds that the new series has a lot of sci-fi action and is centered on the Fantastic Four’s blooming friendship. An artist named Humberto Ramos shared how precious this project was for him and its significance.

“I’ve been lucky to illustrate many of the most iconic superheroes in the universe, but this book felt different from the start,” he shared. “The weight of history and legacy of these characters lay upon your shoulders, no matter who you are or how you’ve worked in this industry.”

Fantastic Four‘s new relaunch follows the conclusion of North’s time with Fantastic Four #33, coming out in June. According to North, after the One World Under Doom event wraps up, fans can expect more science-based mysteries, monsters, and even space adventures. Marvel’s next Avengers movie, Avengers: Doomsday, won’t start filming in London for a few more weeks. The storyline focuses on Doctor Doom, who has taken over the world.
