Sony Pictures Classics shares the first teaser trailer for Charm City Kings. The Will and Jada Smith executive produced story of Baltimores dirt bike riders is based on 2013’s documentary 12 O’clock Boys. The film stars Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill as Blax, Jahi Di’Allo Winston as 14 year old Mouse and Teyonah Parris as Mouses mother.
A 14 year old boy named Mouse has always had a hunger to hang amongst Midnight Clique – the infamous dirt bike gang of his hometowns city. The teens passion for the dirt bike art proves loyal as it doesn’t seem to deteriorate even after the tragic death of his older brother who was a prestigious rider of the group. Mouses ambition gets met when he’s taken under the wing of the groups leader, Blax, who guides him to and through morally-testing territory. All while Mouses mother worries she’ll be loosing yet another son to Baltimores dirt bike brotherhood.
The film is set to debut at Sundance Film Festival On January 27th before screening in N.Y and L.A theaters April 10th.
