After the freestyle following the 2019 American Music Awards dropped, Megan Thee Stallion is back at it again. The Houston rapper posted a video yesterday (Dec. 2) of herself free styling outside of her SUV, spitting fire over Notorious B.I.G’s classic “Hypnotize” instrumental.
The 24-year-old’s Tiny Desk concert also arrived Monday (Dec. 1), where she debuted a new collaboration with Brooklyn’s Phony Ppl. During an interview Meg tells NPR “I felt like my mixtapes were me flirting with my fans.” She even went so far as to admit that she originally never planned on releasing an album. “I never wanted to do an album ’cause I was like, ‘Oh, that feel like marriage. That’s a commitment.’ But now, I’m ready to settle down with an album.” With that being said, her debut album is set to be released in 2020.
